After an epic collapse in the fourth quarter of Game Four, the Mavericks came back in Game Five, defeating the Portland Trail Blazers 93-82.
Dallas now leads the series over Portland three games to two, and has pushed the Blazers to within a game of elimination from the playoffs.
The Mavericks dominated the boards on Monday night, getting 20 offensive rebounds and 49 total, compared to the Blazers’ 9 offensive and 37 total.
Miami Heat Fail to Close Out Playoff Series Against 76ers

Despite being 6-0 against the Philadelphia 76ers so far this year, the Miami Heat could not close out their playoff series against them, falling 86-82.
The first round playoff series now goes back to Florida for Game Five, where the Heat will look to advance and the 76ers will be playing for continued playoff relevance.
The winner of this series will go on to face the Boston Celtics in the second round, which will make for a very exciting series as the Heat are widely expected to close out the 76ers.

Kobe was named the All-Star Game MVP after putting up 37 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. He lead the Western Conference team to a 148-143 victory over the East. Bryant also received the loudest, most sustained applause from the crowd during the pregame introductions, but what else could you expect from Kobe’s hometown fans? This will probably be Bryant’s last All-Star Game played in Los Angeles.
